Experts have revealed that people who are involved in exercise find it easier to establish a good routine and quality sleep than those who spend most of their time doing nothing. A study showed that those who engaged in a sporting activity just 3-4 times a week wake up less frequently at night than those who didn’t.

The reasons for this include is because exercising is usually characterized by a feeling of relaxation, less anxiety, and less depression. It could also be that the body is more tired, therefore, willing and more able to rest.

It might seem a surprise, but how you spend your day and evenings can affect your sleep. For instance, an activity as simple as showering in the evening before getting into bed can set you in the right state for a night of proper sleep. Another thing can be putting off your devices early. The light transmitted from your phone makes your brain feel revved up rather than relaxed, and that is not good for sleep.
